Using your plan
How to Use Your Plan
Follow these 3 simple steps when you need care.
Step 1
Get Care
- Choose an in-network provider
- Confirm your service is covered
Step 2
Use Your BCBS Card
- Show your BCBS ID card at your visit
- Your provider submits the claim
Step 3
Pay Your Bill
- Once processed, use your Nonstop Visa card
- Pay eligible medical expenses
This helps ensure your costs are tracked correctly and covered when eligible.
Important rules
Follow These 3 Rules
- Stay in-network. This helps ensure lower costs and eligibility for coverage.
- Use your Nonstop card for medical expenses. Only use it for approved, in-network services.
- Ask questions before you receive care. If you’re unsure, check first to avoid unexpected costs.
These three steps will help you avoid most issues with your plan.
Covered vs. not covered
What’s Covered vs. Not Covered
Your coverage depends on your BCBS plan.
Covered
- In-network medical services
- Approved doctor visits and procedures
- Covered prescriptions
- Services approved by BCBS
Not Covered
- Out-of-network services unless approved
- Over-the-counter medications
- Dental and vision services
- Services not approved by BCBS
If BCBS doesn’t cover it, Nonstop won’t cover it either.
Nonstop card
